Rules & Regulation

 

 

 

DRESS CODE (Std. 1 to 8):

For girls :

White Shirt and grey tunic. (2 inches above the knees)

Grey bloomer (Inner) Compulsory.

               White short socks and black shoes.

 

For boys :

White shirt and grey shorts. (2 inches above the knees)

White short socks and black shoes.

 

From Std. 9:

For girls :

White Shirt and grey tunic. (up to the knees)

 Grey bloomer (Inner) Compulsory.

               White short socks and black shoes.

 

For boys :

White shirt and grey pants.

               White short socks and black shoes.

               (Easily wearable uniform should be brought every year)

 

HAIR DRESSING:

Girls :

Below shoulder length: – Two plaits tied with black ribbon.

 : Above shoulder length :- Two pony tails tied with black ribbon

 : Short hair: Black hair band.

 

Boys

               Short hair with no fancy hair style.

 

WINTER WEAR:

Girls :

               Grey V-neck pull-over with grey scarf (Do not wear slacks)

Boys

               Grey V-neck pull-over with grey cap

 

P.T. UNIFORM: (Saturday) : (For Std-I & IX)

It is compulsory to wear P.T. uniform every Saturday.

Girls :

               White T-Shirt and white skirt.

Boys

White T-Shirt and white shorts.

 

 

From Std. IX :  Girls :

               White T-Shirt and white skirt.

From Std. IX :  Boys:

               White T-Shirt and white pant.

 

 

FOOTWEAR:

White plain canvas shoes with lace and white short socks.

During Monsoon Season, when you leave the home if it is raining, then only wear sandals

NOTE:

It is compulsory for the students come in prescribed school uniform when they come to school.        And this applies to Birthdays, Open Day, Parents Meeting, Picnic, Funfair etc.

 

PARENTS ARE KINDLY REQUESTED TO :

1.       

After reading the rules and regulation of the school. Carefully encourage your child to strictly follow them.

2.       

       Always extend your co-operation for the maintainence of the school discipline.

3.       

       It is a must to fill the registration from given in the beginning of the diary. In case of any change in the address or phone no., parents should inform it to the school authorities

4.       

       Kindly send your child regularly to school in complete, prescribed neat and clean.

5.       

       Kindly see that the zips, buttons and hook are stitched and manage properly.

6.       

       Select the shoes with Velcro. If the shoes have strings, then tie them properly. Make wear clean shocks.

7.       

       It is compulsory to wear P.T.  Uniform on Saturday. Wear regular inform only when instructed.

8.       

       It is Compulsory for every student to take part in the assembly according to the houses allotted to them. So, parents are requested to send relevant matter assigned by the teacher. This activity is to enhance the student’s individuality and utilize his/her talent.

9.       

       The children should be given a balanced diet and must come to school after taking proper breakfast. Please do not give packed food in the lunch box, only homemade food should be given.

10.   

   Take extra care regarding the cleanliness your child. Regular give handkerchief.

11.   

   Parents are requested to use the school diary for any correspondence and to supervise it regularly to keep track of their child’s progress. When a remark is given, kindly sign to indicate that the message has been received/read.

12.   

   In case of any correspondence regarding their child with the school, parents should mention the name and the standard in which the pupil is studying.

13.   

   Parents are requested not to send their children for tuitions unless advised by the school. Teachers of our school are not supposed to take tuitions for any of the student of our school.

14.   

   The school needs the help and co-ordination of the parents to build up the character of the child. Therefore, parents are earnestly requested to encourage regularity and discipline and to see that their children are regular in homework and other assignments of the school.

15.   

   Kindly respect your child’s individuality and never scold the child in the presence of others. At the same time, the school and the teachers should not be criticized. Such precautions are necessary for the all – round development of your child.

16.   

   Parents should refrain from giving pocket money to the students. They must not wear expensive ornaments or wrist watches in the school.

17.   

   Parents are not allowed to meet the teachers during working hours of the school.

18.   

   In case of any indecent behavior of the parents with the teachers or school authorities, strict action will be adhered to.

19.   

   As a student reflects the school in which he/she studies, parents are requested to ensure that the language used in front of their child is better and ethical. Use English only as the medium of conversation inside the school campus.

20.   

   If the students result is not satisfactory than the parents are requested to take better alternative after discussion with school authorities.

21.   

   If any student fails in the exam his/her report card will not be issued. In this case parents are requested to meet the respective class teacher at the given date.

22.   

   On Open Days or at the time of Parents Meeting, every parent should remain present punctually in time and should cooperate with the teachers with respect and courtesy.

23.   

   According to the Government Regulations, grading method has been put in and ranking method is discarded.

 

 

2. DISCIPLINE:

1.        

Punctuality is an essential aspect of school discipline. Late coming student will get late remark in the diary. In case the act is repeated frequently the student will be sent back home.

2.        

A student must not wear or bring expensive gadgets, toys, gold ornaments etc. to the school. In case even after extra care taken by school. If there is any loss, the school will not be responsible.

3.        

Proper decorum must be maintained by the students in the school premises. While moving from one class to another they must move quietly and in a proper line. They must not use short-cuts and also should not shout or scream in the corridor.

4.        

While moving in the school premises, it is expected that the students must behave properly and courteously. Misconduct or misbehavior will not be tolerated and in such a case the student will be liable to disciplinary action.

5.        

Every student should endeavor to keep up the high ton of the school by exemplary behavior and discipline and set a better example for other students.

6.        

The students must not litter on the ground. Waste should be thrown in the dustbin only.

7.        

The school furniture and property must be properly maintained by the students and no damage should be done to it. In case of any damage, the student will be responsible and shall be fined.

8.        

At the time of prayers students should be attentive to the teacher’s words and should not talk or play mischief with the class mates.

9.        

Except accidental cases, the child will not be sent home in any cases from the school.

 

3. ATTENDANCE:

1.       

It is compulsory that the student’s attendance should be
90%. In case if the attendance is less than 75 %, he/she will be not be entitled to claim promotion to higher standard. His name will be struck off the rolls.

2.       

Students should not remain absent for any of the examinations, as the final average score is worked out by the aggregate marks scored in all the tests/examinations held during the year.

3.       

No leave will be granted except for serious reasons that too only on prior written intimation by parents or guardians in the leave record page provided in the school diary.

4.       

When a child is ill for a prolonged period, parents! Guardians must submit a medical certificate with a leave application.

5.       

Unauthorized absence from school for a month or more renders the students name liable to be removed from the roll.

6.       

No extension of vacation is allowed, except on duly certified grounds.

7.        

Parents are requested not to send their child to the school when the child is sick. In case of any infectious
           disease notify the school, the quarantine period must be strictly adhered to. Any carelessness in this regard not
only endangers the sick child, but also exposes the others to infection.

 

4. LIBRARY RULES:

1.      

A book will be issued for 7 days only. A student wishing to keep it for a longer time will have to get it re-issued.

2.      

Books should be taken from the library only with the permission of the respective teacher.

3.      

Marking or underlining or tearing of pages is strictly forbidden.

4.      

Any damage done to the books will have to be replaced in cash or kind.

 

5. SCHOOL FEES:

1.      

All fees have to be paid within the specified dates.

2.      

Parents unable to pay fees by the specified dates must inform the school authority stating the reason and the date when they would pay the same.

3.      

If a child’s name is struck off the rolls for a long absence without notice, he/she will be permitted to join the class only after full payment of fees.

4.      

All dues will have to be cleared before a leaving certificate is issued.

 

 

6. WITHDRAWALS:
School leaving certificate will not be issued without the written application from the parents / guardians.
A notice of one full calendar month is to be given before the withdrawal of the pupil otherwise fees
 will be charged for that period.
           7. NOTICE FOR CONVEYANCE:

1.      

School does not provide any conveyance facility.

2.      

Parents & vehicle drivers are requested to maintain the punctuality regarding school timings.

3.      

School will not be responsible regarding the sitting capacity, safety of children and behavior of   drivers of any vehicles. Parents will be responsible for the above matter. School will not take any responsibility regarding any problem arising in dealing with these agencies.

4.      

The vehicle drivers must not misbehave in or near the school campus. 

5.      

The complete responsibility of the behavior and discipline of vehicle driver will be of the parents. 

6.      

Students will not be allowed to enter the school premises, if they are not punctual.

 

         8. FOR FUN FAIR:
                                It is compulsory for all the students along with their parents to participate in the fun 

                   fair.

 

9. FOR ANNUAL DAY (CULTURAL PROGRAMME):
Parents I Guardians should strictly follow the give Instructions: –

1.      

Participation of all the students from Std. 1 to 7 is compulsory.

2.      

Participation of students from Std. 8 onwards in this program is voluntary & It should be informed to the class teacher. But all the students have to participate in the management of this program as volunteer.

3.      

Selection of the program, costume & the group will be decided by the school only, which should be followed by the parents.

4.      

In case of any changes due to unavoidable circumstances parents are requested to co-operate in all the decisions taken by the school.

5.      

After the program, parents should collect their child as per the given instructions only.
Parents are requested to kindly co-operate regarding all the above mentioned points.

10. FOR PARKING OF VEHICLE:

Parents please note that, when you come to collect your child, during parents meeting, for the celebration of  the funfair or Annual Day, whenever you come to school please park your vehicle on the extreme side of the road, so that it will be easy to manage other vehicles.

STUDENT’S TRADITION

1.      

We are proud of our school we will not permit anybody to speak ill about our school.

2.      

During prayers we will sit erect, in correct posture, close our eyes and concentrate on God. With our true hearts we will secure blessings from God and begin our academic work.

3.      

In school and outside we will behave with other with immense love, co-operation and affinity.

4.      

We will enter the classroom in a queue and maintain discipline.

5.      

During the gap between two periods and in absence of teacher we will obey the monitor and maintain discipline in the class.

6.      

We will not litter the pieces of paper and pencil dust anywhere in the class and throw the same in the dustbin.

7.      

The school is ours that should be feeling in everybody. We will not destroy the school property and we will maintain the cleanliness in the school.

8.      

Water is a natural resource and is very important for surviving. Electricity is produced from water so switch of the power save energy.

9.      

Always be a sport on the ground Instead of emphasing on winning or tossing give more stress on activity development and give respect to the judgment passed by the judges.

10.   

We will warmly welcome the visitors.

11.   

We will listen to anybody peacefully. We will never interpret any body and we will explain our matter in brief with due respect.

12.   

Any item found from the classroom or ground will be handed over to the Principal.

13.   

We will not use bad or abusive language with our classmates.

14.   

We will do the homework carefully which is given to us.

15.   

We will pay respect to our teachers and inculcate their teachings in our life.

 

BEFORE ARRIVING TO SCHOOL

1.      

Have you got ready a little bit earlier to reach the school in time?

2.      

 is the uniform neat and clean?

3.      

 Is your hair properly oiled and clean?

4.      

 Have you carefully carried the books necessary according to the time table?

5.      

 Have you done your homework properly?

6.      

 Have you carried the books to be checked in the school?

7.      

 Is there any unwanted items in your bag except books?

8.      

 Have you carried your little friend – handkerchief that keeps you clean?

9.      

Have you prepared yourself for your oral test?  Your preparations enthusiastically So come on lets go to school in time and proceed with our life moulding lesson. 

 

 

GOOD HABITS TO BE DEVELOPED

 

STUDENTS

 

1.

Talk with your parents at least for 10 minutes about your day to day experiences of school.

2.

Show the school diary to your parents and get their signature if required.

3.

Do your school’ work for at least 30 to 45 minutes everyday without anybody’s help.

4.

Up-date the corrections in the notebooks as indicated by the teacher.

5.

Maintain your books, bag and stationary neatly and properly.

6.

Do not be absent in school frequently.

7.

Sleep for at least 8 hours.

8.

Before sleeping arrange the books and stationery as per the next day’s time -table in your bag.

9.

Cultivate the habit to read books, newspapers or magazines for 15 minutes daily.

10.

Before going to bed spend your 15-20 minutes with your parents.

11.

In the morning brush your teeth, wash your face and body well. Oil and comb your hair properly. Learn proper toilet habits.

12.

Wear clean and proper uniform, with the identity card. Also bring a napkin or a handkerchief.

13,

Reach the school by 7.25 a.m. So that you are in time for the assembly.

14.

Your parents can also give you good advice, which you should always listen and follow.

15.

Listen to the news in English everyday for 20 minutes.

16.

Watch discovery, National geographic, English channels regularly.

 

 

GOOD HABITS TO BE DEVELOPED

 

PARENTS

 

1.

7.

 Ensure that your child gets at least 8 hours of sleep.

8.

 Train your child before going to bed, to arrange the books and stationery as per the next day’s time- table in his bag.

9.

 Encourage your child to read a book or magazine for 15 minutes before going to bed. If necessary, sit with him/her and discuss the same.

10.

 Never allow your child to go to bed immediately after watching TV. Psychologists advise against it.

11.

 Train your child to brush his teeth, teach proper toilet habits, wash his face and body well. Oil and comb his hair properly.

12.

 Ensure that your child wears clean and proper uniform with the identity – card. See that he takes a napkin or a handkerchief.

13,

 Ensure that your child reaches school by 7.25 a.m. So that he is in time for the assembly.

14.

 Be kind but firm with your child, and train your child to listen to you. It is difficult to inculcate this habit at an older age.

15.

Motivate your child to listen English news everyday for 20 mm.

16.

 Motivate your child to watch Discovery, National Geographic Channel. He/She should get used to fluent English.
